Politrics rivals Chess
History:
I’ve been playing chess since childhood. In the 1990s I developed Politrics
and played it around the world in many countries that I lived in.
After thousands of games played I can say that there are no flaws, no bugs.
Now that I am 63 years young I can devote all my time and energy to making Politrics a worldwide success with the help of you, the backer..
The first Politrics World Championship has a purse of 1,280,000.00 Euros plus sponsorship added.
Characteristics:
It takes minutes only to understand how Politrics works.
Depending on where the first figure is placed there can be more than 23000
opening moves, hence it is most unlikely that a game will ever be played twice.
Players develop their own tactics to win boards and strategies to win the game. You play the board to win the game – Politrics is a board game.
There are 3 ways to win a board:
1. by creating a line of 5 figures that cannot be beaten.
2. by beating your opponent’s President.
3. by reducing the amount of your opponent’s figures. When you don’t have enough figures left to create a line of five you have lost.
The maximum score of a board is 100 points. You need 100 points to win the game. You may win the game by winning several boards or one only.
There is no draw.
Download board + figures + rules
Download a championship size board of 600mm x 400mm = A2 and print on four A4 pages. You cut out base figures and print a set of rules. So you can play immediately. If you like Politrics you pledge US$ 3.20 or 2.50 Euros or GBP 2.00.
Politrics World Championship
You become a Registered Player, the fee is 140.00 Euros, for backers it is half this amount, 70.00 Euros, GBP 55.00 or US$ 88.00.
A Registered Player beats 12 different Registered Players to become a Novice.
A Novice beats 12 different Novices to become a Bachelor.
A Bachelor beats 12 different Bachelors to become a Master.
A Master beats 12 different Masters to become a Grandmaster.
So you become a Grandmaster by winning 48 games, lost games do not count against you. Games are played in ranking tournaments in Politrics Clubs in conjunction with Politrics. Ranking games are always played face to face. There are regional tournaments for Grandmasters with prize money.
The top ranked 512 Grandmasters will be seated at the PWC, a further 512 Grandmasters and regional tournament winners are drawn against them.
